Illustration Friday — Resolutions

It’s a new year. With a new year, comes the time to make those resolutions. You know, the ones you strive hard to keep the first 2 or 3 months and forget about the rest of the year. This year I’m going to try something new, no more resolutions, I’m going to make decisions. I’ve decided to workout and eat healthy. I’ve decided to keep up with my Illustration Friday for the rest of this year. I’ve decided to…well I still have a few other things to make a decision on.

Illustration Friday — Te Amo Corazón

This week’s “Illustration Friday” theme was caged. I was having a hard time coming up with an idea that have something concerning a bird cage or a zoo cage. So I put my iTunes on random, and Prince’s “Te Amo Corazón” came on. If you haven’t heard it, it’s from his 3121 album, it is absolutely amazing. Hell, it’s PRINCE! I grabbed my sharpies and got sketching.

For this week’s Illustration Friday theme is “artificial” I really wanted to draw on something other than paper. So why not try an egg as a new substrate. This is not what Sheldon was expecting when he tried online dating for the first time.

Sharpie + egg = fun

Just remember to draw on your egg after it’s dry. Wet egg and ink usually don’t mix.

Tape and glue down stencil to t-shirt

Use q-tips and paint brush to draw design

After a few more coats of bleach
